Who we are
Gip-Adventure Tours & Safaris is a privately owned, locally based tour company in Arusha. We plan tailor-made and scheduled safaris, Kilimanjaro and Meru climbs, beach escapes and cultural journeys across Tanzania, Zanzibar, Kenya and Uganda.
Our team knows these parks and mountains season by season. We choose every lodge ourselves, run our own safari vehicles, and stay with you on WhatsApp from your first question to your flight home.
My focus is to introduce our guests to genuine characters in off-the-beaten-track places, and to share my love for Tanzania and Zanzibar, its people and its amazing wildlife.

Most visitors need a visa or electronic travel authorisation for Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, and many can apply online before travel. Rules and fees change often, so check the official immigration website for your nationality or ask us and we will point you to the right place.
Requirements depend on where you are travelling from. A yellow fever certificate may be required, especially if you arrive from a country with yellow fever risk, and malaria prevention is advised in most safari areas. Visit a travel clinic 6 to 8 weeks before you fly.
Yes, we strongly recommend comprehensive cover for medical care and emergency evacuation. If you plan to climb Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru, make sure the policy covers trekking at high altitude.
Our guides are professionally trained and safety-conscious. On treks they check how everyone is feeling every day, and several traveler reviews mention oxygen-level monitoring and careful decisions about health and weather.
Yes, safaris suit all ages. Some activities have minimum ages set by the parks: Kilimanjaro climbers must be at least 10 years old, and gorilla trekking in Uganda and Rwanda is for ages 15 and over.
Tipping guides, drivers, cooks and porters is customary and appreciated. We send a simple tipping guideline for your specific trip when you book, so you know what to plan for.
Every proposal lists exactly what is included and what is not, such as flights, visas, insurance and tips, so there are no surprises. You confirm with a deposit, and we send payment details with your proposal.
Light layers in neutral colors for safari, a warm jacket for early game drives, a hat, sunscreen and a good pair of binoculars. For Kilimanjaro, add thermal layers, waterproofs and broken-in boots. We send a full packing list after you book.
