Beach & Zanzibar Holidays

White sand, turquoise water and Stone Town's history: Zanzibar on its own or as the perfect finish to a safari.

After the dust of the safari, Zanzibar's beaches are the perfect place to rest. The island combines powder-white sand and warm, clear water with a rich history: the narrow streets of Stone Town, spice farms, ruined palaces and a mix of African, Arab, Indian and European cultures.

Our beach holidays work on their own or as an extension to any safari, with flights from Arusha, Kilimanjaro or the Serengeti straight to the island.

Things to do on Zanzibar

  • A guided walk through Stone Town and the Forodhani night food market.

  • Red colobus monkeys in Jozani Forest.
  • A sunset dhow cruise.

Choosing your beach

The north (Nungwi and Kendwa) has swimming at all tides and lively sunsets. The east coast (Paje, Jambiani, Matemwe) has wide tidal beaches and a quieter feel. Ask us to match the area to your style.
