Overview
Mbali Mbali Gombe Lodge, also known as Gombe Forest Lodge, is a small and intimate tented lodge set in the shade of ancient forest trees inside Gombe Stream National Park, just off the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
Catering for just 14 guests at a time, the lodge offers a unique blend of complete privacy and simple comfort, in the park made world-famous by Jane Goodall's chimpanzee research.
With seven forest tents set beneath mango trees, a lounge and dining deck overlooking the lake and jungle-covered mountains, and chimpanzee trekking right from the doorstep, it is ideal for travellers seeking an unforgettable primate experience in one of Tanzania's most remote parks.

Forest Tents
Seven spacious safari tents raised on timber platforms beneath huge mango trees, each named after one of the chimpanzees known to the Jane Goodall Institute researchers. Every tent has a covered private deck overlooking the forest, twin or double four-poster beds with mosquito nets, a dressing table, charging points and an en-suite bathroom with shower, flush toilet and hot running water.

Mbali Mbali Gombe Lodge is located inside Gombe Stream National Park, about 20 kilometres north of Kigoma on the eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika. Gombe is Tanzania's smallest national park and is reached only by boat from Kigoma.
