Lake Shore Lodge on the map
Lake Shore Lodge is located in Kipili village on the south-eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika, in the Rukwa Region of western Tanzania. Mahale Mountains National Park lies about 200 kilometres to the north, reached on the lodge's boat expeditions.
Guests usually arrive by light aircraft to Kipili airstrip. The lodge is open from mid-February to mid-December.
