Overview

Katavi Wildlife Camp is a traditional tented camp set among the trees on the edge of the Katisunga plain, with arguably the most outstanding view in Katavi National Park.

Run by the Fox family, who also run Rufiji River Camp, the camp offers a unique blend of classic safari character and warm hospitality in one of Tanzania's wildest and least visited parks.

With just six spacious tents, a two-storey main banda with an upper viewing deck and a front-row seat to huge herds of buffalo and the predators that follow them, it is ideal for travellers seeking an authentic, uncrowded safari.
